LANL Foundation Now Accepting 2022 Outreach Grants Applications
The Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) Foundation’s 2022 Outreach Grants application is now open and accepting proposals for Education and Community Outreach Grants at a $5,000 funding level. The application deadline is February 21, at 5:00 p.m. mountain time. Additionally, potential applicants are invited to join us for a General Help Session: January 20, 2022 at 11:00am – 12:00pm. Interested individuals can register here: https://www.lanlfoundation.org/events/2022-outreach-grants-cycle-opens
The Foundation categorizes proposals into two distinct funding groups: Education Outreach and Community Outreach. Education Outreach proposals provide services which directly support public education programs and educators for grades K–12 during in- and out-of-school time. Community Outreach Grants support learners of all ages by funding community-based programs that help families and individuals thrive, learn, and fully engage within their community.
Eligible applicants include school districts, nonprofit educational institutions, IRS-qualified 501(c)3 organizations, government agencies serving Los Alamos, Mora, Rio Arriba, San Miguel, Sandoval, Santa Fe, and Taos counties and the 18 Pueblos and tribal communities serving their communities across Northern New Mexico.
With all Outreach Grants, LANL Foundation supports programs, projects, or organizations working in one or more strategic focus areas:
Community Capacity Building
College, Career & Community Pathways
Growing and Supporting Teachers & Educational Leaders
Social Emotional & Neurosequential Learning
STEAM
