The LANL Foundation is excited to announce the opening of the 2024 Scholarship Application for students pursuing a four-year undergraduate degree, which is accepting applications until January 21, 2025.

The LANL Foundation celebrates the appointment of Dr. June Yu, a member of its Board of Directors, as the new Vice President for UC National Laboratories (UCNL). The University of California Board of Regents approved the appointment last week, recognizing Dr. Yu’s extensive career as a distinguished physicist and seasoned leader within the national laboratory system.

The LANL Foundation is pleased to announce the creation of the Veteran’s Scholarship Fund to provide scholarships to students across Northern New Mexico with ties to the military. 

The LANL Foundation has selected Dr. Gwen Perea Warniment to serve as the organization’s next President and Chief Executive Officer following an extensive national search to identify the Foundation’s next leader. 

The LANL Foundation announces changes to its Board of Directors following elections conducted by the Board. After years of dedicated service, Kathryn Harris Tijerina has passed the leadership baton to Dr. Denise Montoya, who will now serve as Chair of the Board.

The LANL Foundation is pleased to announce recipients of the 2024 LANL Career Pathways scholarships aimed at supporting students pursuing associate degrees, certificates and other credentials in the trades.  This year, 128 Northern New Mexico students received 44 scholarships totaling $117,000. Recipients hail from Rio Arriba, San Miguel, Taos, Los Alamos, Sandoval and Santa Fe Counties and will receive $750 per semester up to $3,000 total toward their education.

The LANL Foundation, in partnership with Northern New Mexico Integrated Security (N2MIS), proudly announces the recipients of the 2024 Excellence in Teaching Awards. Each year, this prestigious award honors exceptional educators in Rio Arriba County and Pojoaque Schools, recognizing their outstanding contributions to the field of education.
