Applications are Now Accepted for Scholarships for Nontraditional Students Seeking 2-Year Degrees or Certificates and High School Grads and Current Undergrads
Lorraine Alire of Vallecitos started pursuing higher education as an adult to earn an associate’s degree from Northern New Mexico College for a career in early childhood education with the support of a $1,000 Regional College/Returning Student Scholarship from the Los Alamos Employees Scholarship Fund. Now, she’s working toward a bachelor’s degree and qualified for a four-year Bronze award of $5,000.
