Don Chalmers Passion for Excellence Award Recipient Announced

ALBUQUERQUE, NM — Quality New Mexico is pleased to announce the recipient of the second Don Chalmers Passion for Excellence Award.  The recipient is Bill Wadt, Past President of the LANL Foundation Board of Directors. 

“We are proud to recognize Bill Wadt for his passion for excellence,” said Anne Kain, Quality New Mexico Board Chair.  “We congratulate him for his outstanding accomplishments and his continued commitment to excellence in New Mexico.”

Jenny Parks, President/CEO, LANL Foundation stated:  “Bill Wadt has consistently exemplified outstanding leadership in the pursuit of performance excellence.  We at the Foundation cannot think of a more deserving person than Bill to receive this Award.  In all of the Boards and organizations Bill participates in or is involved with, Bill always pushes gently for excellence.  The LANL Foundation is where it is today largely due to Bill’s work.  Don Chalmers would be pleased to know that someone like Bill has won the Award bearing his name”. 

New Mexico artist Curtis Fort was commissioned to create the Don Chalmers Passion for Excellence Award.  It’ll be presented to Bill Wadt at Quality New Mexico’s “New Mexico Performance Excellence Awards Ceremony” on April 19 at Isleta Resort.
