LANL Foundation board member Dr. June Yu named Vice President of UC National Laboratories 

The LANL Foundation celebrates the appointment of Dr. June Yu, a member of its Board of Directors, as the new Vice President for UC National Laboratories (UCNL). The University of California Board of Regents approved the appointment last week, recognizing Dr. Yu’s extensive career as a distinguished physicist and seasoned leader within the national laboratory system.

LANL Foundation announces 2024 Career Pathways Scholars 

The LANL Foundation is pleased to announce recipients of the 2024 LANL Career Pathways scholarships aimed at supporting students pursuing associate degrees, certificates and other credentials in the trades.  This year, 128 Northern New Mexico students received 44 scholarships totaling $117,000. Recipients hail from Rio Arriba, San Miguel, Taos, Los Alamos, Sandoval and Santa Fe Counties and will receive $750 per semester up to $3,000 total toward their education.

Application opens for LANL Foundation’s Career Pathways Scholarships

LANL Foundation is now accepting applications for Career Pathways Scholarships. These awards are for individuals who have a specific career in mind and are committed to earning an associate’s degree or certification in any field or trade. They are available to high school students and adult learners with a high school diploma or GED/High School Equivalency (HSE).
