MIDDLE SCHOOL MATH TEACHER FELLOWSHIP
All middle school math teachers in Northern New Mexico are invited to apply to participate.
Program Components:
- Differentiated sessions will be held in the afternoon, bi-weekly, online or in person.
- Quarterly in-person meetings on Fridays.
- Summer 2027 Workshop.
- Classroom supports will be provided, including co-teaching, modeling, supplies, and observations.
- Administrators will be supported through quarterly Math Leadership meetings and technical assistance.
- $2000 Annual Stipend for Full Participation.

Middle school math teachers are invited to apply for a fellowship designed to strengthen daily practice with HQIM, improve student outcomes, build sustained professional learning practices, learn with colleagues over time, and foster leadership and joy for learning.
Middle School Math Teachers teach an ambitious curriculum and work with students during a pivotal developmental period. The Middle School Math Teacher Fellowship is designed to support you in your day-to-day work with students. Join a community of practice that will support you to improve your students’ confidence and abilities in mathematics through responsive approaches to teaching and learning that are aligned to state and national standards of practice.

- Integrate culturally and linguistically ambitious instructional practices that support rich and rigorous student learning.
- Use data to make informed instructional decisions.
- Join a community of colleagues in a supportive two-year cohort to deepen your professional practice and grow as math education leaders in New Mexico!
