Rio Arriba County Early Childhood Collaborative (RACECC)

The Rio Arriba County Early Childhood Collaborative was formed in 2018 at the request of community interest to better network and understand the services being offered to young children and their families in the county. The group of close to fifty educational, health and other service organizations meets monthly with a community program guest speaker at each meeting.

The goal of the RACECC is to promote a thriving community in Rio Arriba County where all children—prenatal to age 5—and their families have equitable access to high-quality early care and educational services, education on early childhood issues, trauma prevention and networking and public awareness. Improving the lives of children and their families is at the heart of this collaborative, which is comprised of many community members.
