Rod Dobbs

Rod is the 8th grade U. S. History and the English Language Development teacher at El Camino Real Academy in Santa Fe. He is from Santa Fe, by way of Georgia and Alabama. He has lived in Santa Fe for over 20 years and is so thankful to call it his home. Santa Fe truly feels like a community to him. The people have shown him warmth and kindness for which he will always feel both indebted and eternally grateful. He is always looking to improve as a teacher and is pursuing his NBC as the next step in that process. For fun, he likes to practice yoga and meditation, cook, watch soccer, mountain and road bike, fish, camp, hike, spend time with his daughter, and relax.
