Monica became a part of the LANL Foundation in 2015, bringing her diverse background to the Science Resource Center. Her organization skills are a valuable asset to keep the warehouse and hundreds of hands-on learning materials in order for the inquiry STEM program. She is involved in the complex inventory, logistics of module delivery and pick up, and refurbishment in support of more than 600 classrooms throughout Northern New Mexico.
She served four years as a Combat Medic in the Army National Guard and has also worked as a loss prevention officer with the pueblo of Ohkay Owingeh.
