Madeline is an award-winning artist and potter. She has received 1st-honorable mentions at Santa Fe Indian Market (1992-2022) and at the Heard Museum Indian Art Market (2018-2022). In 2018, she received the Sara Fina Tafoya Memorial Award.
She has a long history of community involvement. She was Vice-chair at the Santa Clara Head Start parent committee, a Santa Clara JOM parent committee member, a Santa Clara Day School Board of Education member and Chair, an Española Public Schools Indian Education parent committee member, a Santa Clara Pueblo Tribal Council alternate, and Santa Clara Pueblo Tribal Councilwoman. She is currently a Santa Clara Pueblo Elected Official, Tribal Secretary.
