Mihaela Popa-Simil, LANL Foundation Vice President of Finance and Operations, is honored as one of Albuquerque Business First’s 2017 C-Suite finalists.
Executives were nominated by the public and then asked to submit an application with information about themselves. The applications were then evaluated by judges based on professional achievement, contributions to the community and leadership skills. The top scorers are honorees, and the single top scorer in each category will be the winner.
The orgnanization breaks down the C-Suite awards into five categories: CEO, CFO, COO, executive director/nonprofit CEOs and other. Each category’s winner will be announced at the awards event on October 10, 11:30am to 1 pm, at the Isleta Resort & Casino.
This year’s judges are: Mario Burgos, president and CEO, Burgos Group; E. DeAnn Eaton, CEO, Haverland Carter Lifestyle Group; Amanda Giannini, head of finance, Descartes Labs; Terri Giron-Gordon, president, GenQuest Inc.; Adam Harrington, CFO, HB Construction.
