Request for Proposals (RFP): Martinez/Yazzie Tribal Community Engagement Facilitation
The LANL Foundation is honored to be selected as a key partner in supporting the New Mexico Public Education Department (PED) and WestEd in the development of the Comprehensive Remedial Action Plan in response to the Martinez/Yazzie decision.
As part of this initiative, the LANL Foundation seeks a qualified contractor to support facilitation of regional community meetings across New Mexico that are specifically tribally focused in Española, Farmington, Mescalero, Gallup and Zuni. These community meetings will be designed to gather stakeholder voices, specifically reflective of Native American students and their experience in public education in New Mexico. In addition, this contractor will be responsible for supporting a meeting in September in Gallup that will convene tribes from across the state. A collaboration of contractors with connections to some or all of these regions is preferred. The dates for these events are pre-approved and will occur throughout the month of August.
