Thomas Duran is the Budget Analyst at the LANL Foundation, where he plays a key role in supporting the Foundation’s mission by helping programs prioritize and track funding to advance critical educational services across Northern New Mexico. He brings a strong background in higher education finance from his time at UNM Taos and is deeply committed to expanding educational opportunities for first-generation and underserved students.
Thomas holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from New Mexico State University and a master’s degree in educational leadership from the University of New Mexico.
Beyond his professional work, Thomas is actively involved in several ministries at San Francisco de Asis Church in Ranchos de Taos. He also enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife, children, and grandchildren.
