Stephanie Montoya Lobaugh

Driven by a passion for expanding access to education and opportunity, Stephanie Montoya Lobaugh serves as the Communications Director for the LANL Foundation. In this role, she leads strategic communications to amplify the Foundation’s mission, programs, and impact. Stephanie brings over ten years of experience in strategic communications for education and governmental organizations, with an emphasis on positive storytelling, community advocacy, and equity. Previously, she served as Communications Director for the New Mexico Higher Education Department and has held communications roles for the GEAR UP college readiness program and Northern New Mexico College. She holds bachelor’s degrees in government and journalism from New Mexico State University and a master’s degree in strategic organizational communications from Gonzaga University. Outside of work, Stephanie enjoys spending time with her husband and their dog, exploring the natural beauty of New Mexico.
