Carol teaches middle school art at El Camino Real Academy. She is passionate about art, community, and social and environmental justice, and she likes to find ways to combine these interests by teaching art.
After earning a degree in Government, she moved to Washington DC to work in the US Senate. She also traveled for a year volunteering in arts cooperatives in Guatemala, Costa Rica, and Ecuador. She lives in a co-housing community where she raised her daughter, who is currently a college student at the New School in New York City. She also enjoys pursing her own artistic practice.
