Jacob Dominguez joined the Foundation in June of 2022 as the Human Resources & Accounts Payable Coordinator. He provides tactical and strategic support on all aspects of Human Resources & Accounts Payable activities. He is a Native New Mexican who grew up in Grants, NM.
Prior to joining the Foundation Jacob has worked at various companies like Conoco, Intel Corporation, Hewlett Packard and Eclipse Aviation. At Conoco he was a Finance Analyst at the regional and Corporate level and also coordinated hiring of the top NM College Graduates with a focus on Diversity Candidate. While at Intel Jacob was a Senior Finance Analyst initially and then spent the rest of his time there in HR supporting and managing the local and then US College Programs. He leveraged his relationships with NMSU and UNM professors to ensure Intel hired the top college graduates and met NM hiring goals and requirements with an emphasis on diversity graduates. At Eclipse Aviation, a start-up company, Jacob was a Coordinator in the HR group handling a large hiring ramp and all aspects of HR. He is currently the President of the non-profit Taos Habitat for Humanity.
Jacob is a first-generation College Graduate and received his Bachelor’s Degree from New Mexico State University in Finance and Real Estate with a minor in Economics. He received various scholarships similar to the Foundation scholarships which allowed him to complete his undergraduate degree and is very passionate about offering scholarships and support to encourage all NM students to pursue additional education in order to reach their full potential. He then graduated from Oklahoma City University with a Master in Business Administration degree in a special accelerated MBA program designed for Professionals working full-time and graduated with Honors. Jacob enjoys biking, fishing, golfing and hiking at his cabin in Taos and spending time with his grandchildren,wife and family.
