Isaac Ortiz became part of the LANL Foundation in late 2015 as part of the Science Resource Center team. He is involved in the complex inventory of hundreds of hands-on STEM learning materials, logistics of module delivery and pick up, and refurbishment in support of more than 600 classrooms throughout Northern New Mexico.
Isaac is from Cordova, New Mexico, and graduated from the University of New Mexico with his bachelors degree in studio and media arts. When Isaac is not work at the SRC, he works as a floor salesman at Big 5 in Española. In his free time he enjoys doing his own artwork and volunteers with youth throughout the community on different types of art projects. Through his work with the Foundation, he looks forward to continuing to help kids expand their learning experience.
