Letter from the CEO

Without you — our donors, volunteers, partners, teachers, scholars, and grantees — the LANL Foundation couldn't exist.  We are profoundly grateful for all of you, and your dedication is changing the lives of our students and their families. Thank you.

To Our Community:

As a learning organization, the LANL Foundation is committed to listening to the communities we serve and promoting racial and social equity in all our programs and grantmaking. We know that public education plays a unique and powerful role in shaping the trajectories for all communities, especially those of color -- either positively by expanding opportunities or adversely by perpetuating disparities.

We recognize the impact that racial, economic, class and linguistic differences have on our society and are moved by the gravity of historical trauma and oppression that we see in Northern New Mexico. We will actively work to address these issues with urgency and responsibility through our grantmaking and current and future education programs. We will also encourage and support this work in other organizations and in our community.

We are deeply committed to the health and well-being of Northern New Mexico and celebrate its diverse populations. We look forward to a year of doing just that!

With Warm Wishes,
Jennifer M. Parks, CEO
