Apr. 27, 2012: Susan Seestrom, associate director for experimental physical sciences at Los Alamos National Laboratory, is chairing the 2012 employees’ scholarship campaign.

Feb. 7, 2012: The LANL Foundation through the Los Alamos Employees Scholarship Fund announces ten 2012 Regional College/Returning Student Scholarship Fund recipients. This fund awards scholarships to motivated students returning to formal education, after a hiatus for other pursuits and are now seeking to expand their opportunities with a certificate or a two-year degree through a program in the regional area.

Dec., 2011: In 2011, in continued partnership with Los Alamos National Security, LLC (LANS), the LANL Foundation provided $3,806,205 to educational institutions and non-profit organizations in Northern New Mexico for a wide variety of education programs addressing critical public education needs STEM. June 7, 2007: The Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) Foundation held its first annual Fiesta de Escolares to celebrate the 2007 Los Alamos Employees’ Scholarship Fund (LAESF) award recipients.

April 20, 2007: LANL Foundation announces the 2007 scholarship recipients. Since 1997, LAESF has awarded college scholarships to students from Los Alamos, Mora, Rio Arriba, San Miguel, Sandoval, Santa Fe, and Taos counties, encouraging them to pursue a higher education.

March 9, 2007: The Los Alamos National Laboratory Foundation Awards $3,493,422 in Educational Enrichment, Educational Outreach and Community Outreach Grants to Organizations Serving Los Alamos, Mora, Rio Arriba, San Miguel, Sandoval, Santa Fe and Taos Counties.
